The Fonterra Welfare Fund is specifically for those on an individual employment contract (the Dairy Industry Superannuation Scheme offers benefits for those on a collective agreement) it offers concessions on Life Insurance, Income Protection Insurance and Critical Illness Insurance.
The scheme is managed by Mercer Marsh Benefits and overseen by Trustees who help to ensure that the best terms and processes are delivered for the benefit of the members.
The best concessions are reserved for those who apply for these benefits within 90 days of becoming eligible (new starter or new onto an individual contract).
